Shed Installation

1. Scheduling Your Installation

Once your order is confirmed, we’ll contact you to arrange your shed installation. Typical wait times range from 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the time of year and current demand.

2. Preparing the Site

Although we handle most aspects of the installation, a few preparations on your part will ensure a smooth process:

  • Our sheds are constructed at your location.

  • Fenced yards are fine as long as there’s a gate at least 3 feet wide with unobstructed access to the build area.

  • Please maintain a minimum of 3 feet of open space around and above the site (4 feet if your shed is larger than 160 sq. ft.).

  • An electrical outlet should be accessible within 150 feet of the setup location.

  • The ground where your shed will be placed must be within 6 inches of level.

3. Installation Day

On the morning of your scheduled installation, our team will give you a call to confirm timing. Once on-site, the installer will review your work order with you before beginning construction.

4. Final Inspection

Most sheds are completed in one-two weeks. Before wrapping up, your installer will walk you through a final inspection of the finished shed to make sure everything meets your expectations and answer any remaining questions.

What does built-on-site mean?

Built-on-site means your shed is installed directly in your backyard. The installer will walk the materials to the backyard. This is ideal for homeowners that have fenced in backyards or limited access space. This is a major benefit versus purchasing pre-built or pre-fabricated sheds which may require removing fences and objects. Installing a shed on-site also prevents damage to your landscape.

Is site preparation required before installation?

Yes. It’s your responsibility to make sure the installation area is level and ready before we arrive. The foundation can be a concrete slab, a wooden platform, or simply level ground—whichever suits your needs and complies with local guidelines. Additionally, the site must be easily accessible for our team and materials.

What type of foundation is best for my shed?

Your shed should be placed on a solid, level base to ensure stability and longevity. Common foundation options include leveled ground, concrete slabs, patio pavers, or similar sturdy surfaces. A proper foundation promotes airflow beneath the structure and helps with natural drainage, preventing moisture buildup and extending the life of your shed.

How long does shed installation usually take?

The majority of sheds are completed within one to two weeks. The exact timeframe depends on the shed’s size, design complexity, and how prepared your site is for installation. A well-prepped, level site can help speed up the process. Weather can also affect the installtion timeframe, such as extreme heat, extreme winds, or heavy rain.

Who will be installing my shed?

Your shed will be built by one of our skilled local installers based in Pahrump. Each installer is professionally trained to ensure quality craftsmanship throughout the construction process. For any work that requires specialized licensing, we also partner with qualified, licensed subcontractors to handle those specific tasks.

Is shed installation included in the price?

Yes, the cost of your shed includes full on-site installation by our team. There are no extra labor charges—our team will handle the assembly from start to finish as part of your purchase.

Can you help if my build site isn’t level?

Yes, we can assist with leveling your site. Basic leveling of up to 6 inches is included. If your site requires more adjustment, an optional leveling package is available to accommodate up to 12 inches. Please note, we’re unable to install sheds on sites that exceed 12 inches out of level.
